This is the Commissary for San Martin Bakery & Restaurant, a vibrant Guatemalan bakery-café and restaurant in Uptown Dallas at 3120 McKinney Avenue, bringing a delicious slice of Central American culinary culture to North Texas. Founded in Guatemala in 1974, San Martín is celebrated for its freshly baked breads, flaky pastries, cakes, cookies, and excellent coffee — all served in a bright, inviting space that blends contemporary design with a relaxed neighborhood vibe. In addition to its bakery goods, the menu includes a variety of breakfast, brunch, lunch, and casual dinner items that appeal to local food lovers and visitors alike, earning regular praise in Dallas’ food scene and awards such as Best Bakery from local critics and dining guides.

Since opening its first U.S. location in Dallas in December 2018, San Martín has been steadily growing in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. In August 2024 it added a second location in north Dallas at San Martin Bakery and Restaurant on Belt Line Road in the Dallas/Addison area, expanding access to its beloved breads and Guatemalan-inspired dishes. Plans are underway for further expansion in the region, including a third location in nearby Plano, reflecting both the brand’s deep roots in Central America and its rising popularity among North Texas diners.
